“As ready as ever!” She sing songed as she began to walk out of the cafe. “I’m just getting a rush of excitement, I love the thrill of doing something dangerous!” She said excitedly as her and Katie wandered through the hallways of the asylum.

Katie laughed. “You’ve never done something like this before have you.” she asked

“Not that I know of! And if I did, I was too drunk to remember!” Maya said laughing as she remembered all the crazy things she used to do with her friends.

“Stick with me and it won’t be your last.” Katie said smiling. She pulled out the lighter and turned it on to make sure it worked. “Ok lets go.” Katie made her way out of the cafe and down the hall, toward Olivia’s room.

“No you can have it.” Maya said while handing it over to her and chuckling. “I’ll just say I got drunk and felt like it. After all I do have alcoholism.” Maya said with a smirk on her face.

“Thank you!” she said snatching the pizza from her hand and eating it quickly. “But where would you have gotten the booze?”

Katie began to walk with her, distracted. “Huh?” she asked. “Oh I don’t know I’m hungry.” she said. She went to the cafe and hopped over the counter of the pizza place.

Maya followed behind her. “Gee you weren’t kidding when you said you were hungry! She said. “But I would like to know so I have at least something to say when we get interrogated for setting a room on fire!” she demanded with her hands on her hips.

Katie grabbed two pieces of pizza and ate the first one and held up the second piece, offering it to Maya. “I have my excuse. I don’t know bout you.” she said. She put her head under the soda dispenser and pressed several buttons, pouring soda into her mouth.

“Uh thanks?” Maya took the slice of pizza and bit into it. “Gee Katie it looks like you haven’t eaten in days!” Maya said laughing. “But what am I supposed to say when we get interrogated? I don’t have an excuse!”Maya asked.
